dvb-projekt

I’m an engineering-minded builder from Germany, active in the open-source mining space. I gravitate toward tech I can fully inspect, modify, and understand, which is what keeps me in this ecosystem rather than running closed black-box hardware.

On the hardware side I run a fairly broad fleet of open-source and solo-friendly miners: a NerdMiner V2, NerdNOS, a Bitaxe 602, a NerdAxe Gamma, a NerdQaxe++, a NerdOctaxe, and an Avalon Q. That spread gives me a decent vantage point for comparing firmware behaviour, thermals, and efficiency across different boards and ASICs.

On the software side I develop dvb-WarpPool, an open-source solo mining pool written in Rust that runs on my Umbrel node (and on macOS / Windows / Linux). It’s an active project, and I’m glad to share what I learn building and operating it.

I’m here to contribute actively — pool software, firmware, thermals/efficiency, and hardware testing are where I think I can be most useful. Happy to compare notes, share results, and be corrected where I’m wrong.
