Please help: my cat knocked my Bitaxe off the table. The fan popped out; I put it back in, but the device performed very poorly and showed a temperature of 127, even though the unit itself was cold. After that, it stopped displaying the hashrate, and now it doesn’t show anything at all. What should I do? I bought the Bitaxe just four days ago.
I would suggest to try to reseat the heatsink. It might be that the heatsink doesn’t have good contact anymore with the asic.
Worst case it might be broken but first I would try to make sure the contact area is good and the fan is working again
That didn’t help—it’s displaying the exact same thing, except the temperature is showing 127 degrees again. Maybe I should contact the seller I bought it from and see if they can help?
Yes maybe your seller offers you a repair for it but this is always depending on them.
